What it's for (and what it isn't)
FetchCam is built for close-up inspection inside walls, drains, vents, ducts, engine bays and other gaps you can't see into. It sees best a few inches in front of the lens, which is right where the problem usually is.
It isn't a drain auger, it won't replace a professional main-line sewer camera (16 ft won't reach the street), and the tip doesn't steer on command: you bend the cable into shape by hand.

Watch it find what you can't.
Real footage from inside engine bays, drains, pipes and tight spots. What you see is exactly what shows up on the phone screen.
See inside the engine without pulling a thing apart
See the spots your hands and eyes can't reach
See what's really blocking your drain
See what's hiding under, behind and inside
See everything you get, ready to use in seconds
See how the hook grabs what you dropped
See inside pipes and hoses, even underwater
See how easy it is to get it back

The most expensive part of most repairs is finding the problem.
A drip you can't trace. A ring that rolled into the vent. A bolt that vanished into the engine bay. A scratching sound behind the drywall.
You can usually fix it yourself. You just can't see it. So you're left with two bad options: start cutting on a guess, or pay someone to come out and look.
Call-out costs vary by area and trade.
Made for the moment you can't see in there.
Most people buy FetchCam the day something goes wrong. Pick yours.

Find it. Then fetch it.
Rings in heating ducts. Washers in intake manifolds. Keys under car seats. Push FetchCam in, spot it on your phone, and pull it out with the hook or magnet, without taking anything apart.
"My wedding band fell down my dashboard and into a heating duct… I panicked and googled if this existed or if simply a movie prop. Thank goodness for this product!! It helped me grab my ring back!"Christian R. · got his ring back Get FetchCam

One small hole, not a demolished wall.
Drill a pencil-sized hole, feed the camera in, and follow the water to the source. Then open the wall once, in the right spot.
"I had a leak inside the wall on my 3-story house. I didn't know where it was. This saved me thousands by eliminating the plumber. I was able to open the wall and repair it myself."Paul · found the leak himself Get FetchCam

Bring the footage, not a guess.
Told your heat exchanger is cracked? That the unit needs replacing? Take a look yourself, record it, and show the tradie, the landlord or the insurer exactly what's there.
"HVAC company told me my heat exchanger was cracked, but their video was so unclear… Bought this camera and investigated myself to find what they saw as a crack was not really a crack. They came back out and verified I was correct!"Marcus S. · avoided a replacement Get FetchCam

Diagnose it yourself. Keep the dash on.
Oil leaks at the back of the block. Wiring behind the dash. Cylinder walls through the plug hole. Bend the cable into shape and it stays aimed where you point it.
"I'm working on a car that was severely overheated. I was able to quickly verify I had a blown head gasket and not a cracked cylinder. The app requires no registration or wifi to use and works flawlessly."Robin S. · garage DIYer Get FetchCam

See what's blocking it. Skip the plumber.
Sinks, showers, toilets, floor drains, dryer vents and downpipes. Find the clog, hook it out, and keep the $200 call-out in your pocket.
"My daughter floated the toilet paper holder down the toilet. Didn't want to call and pay for the plumber and didn't want to take apart the toilet… Was able to immediately identify where it was and extract it. Love that it hooks straight up to the phone."HUD · saved the call-out Get FetchCam

Stop wondering what's in there.
Scratching at night. A smell you can't place. A nest in the vent. Look before you guess, and find the spot to fix instead of cutting holes all over the drywall.
"I had a mouse in my wall… I didn't want to cut a bunch of holes in the drywall to find it. I punched two small holes in the wall until I found the mouse. A small drywall patch was all that was needed."Larry · found it in two holes Get FetchCam

Run the cable. Skip the patch job.
Find the pipes and wires before you drill. Route new cables through walls and ceilings. Figure out how an old house was put together without opening it up.
"I have a home built in 1935… I have installed 9 flush mount LED smart lights without having to destroy walls or ceilings to see where to pull wires. I just wish I had gotten it years earlier."Ron S. · renovating a 1935 home Get FetchCam
If you can use your phone camera, you can use this.
No tools. No tech skills. No pairing. Most people are looking inside the wall within a minute of opening the box.

Plug it in
Pick the connector that fits your phone (USB-C, Lightning or Micro-USB, all in the box) and plug it into the charging port.

Open the free app
The live picture appears straight away. No account to create, no Wi-Fi network to join, no subscription.

Look, record, fetch
Bend the cable, push it in, and dial the LEDs up or down. Snap photos or video, then use the hook or magnet to grab what you find.
"This scope is so simple and easy to use, I think anyone could use it." — GoodRed93
Long enough to reach. Stiff enough to aim.
Most cheap scopes fail in one of two ways: a floppy cable that coils up after two feet, or a Wi-Fi feed that lags and drops. FetchCam fixes both.

No Wi-Fi. Just plug in and see.
FetchCam connects straight to your phone through the cable, so the picture is live the moment you plug in. There's no hotspot to join, nothing to pair, and no signal to drop out halfway down the drain. Your phone is the screen, so there's no extra monitor to charge or lose.

Bend it once. It stays aimed.
The 16 ft cable is semi-rigid: stiff enough to push through a cavity without folding over, flexible enough to follow a pipe round a bend. Bend a curve into the end and it holds that shape, so you're steering instead of poking around blind.
Straight talk on picture quality: FetchCam is a 2MP HD camera, not 4K, and it's built for close-up work. It's sharpest a few inches from what you're looking at, which is exactly where the leak, the ring or the bolt is. The cable bends by hand; the tip doesn't steer on command. A minute or two of practice is all it takes.
Four ways to find out what's in there.
Only one costs less than a single call-out and stays in your toolbox for the next time.

What customers mention most
Still on the fence? Fair enough.
Here are the honest answers to the doubts people have before they buy.
"Will it actually work with my phone?"
This is the number one worry we hear, so we've made it risk-free. Every FetchCam comes with USB-C, Lightning and Micro-USB connectors, so it fits iPhone and Android, including the phone you're buying it for. Android phones need OTG support, which almost every phone from the last several years has.
Not sure? Use the phone checker at the top of the page. And if it doesn't connect, send it back within 30 days for a full refund.
"Is the app safe, or is it spyware?"
Fair question. Plenty of cheap scopes come with sketchy apps. The FetchCam app only asks for what it needs to work: access to the camera feed, and permission to save your photos and videos.
- No account or sign-up
- No Wi-Fi connection. It's a cable, plugged straight in
- No subscription or in-app charges
- Your photos and videos stay on your phone
"Cheap cameras are blurry junk. Is this any different?"
Most people who buy one expect blurry, and are surprised. FetchCam is a 2MP HD camera with 8 adjustable LEDs, so you can turn the light down when it's washing out the picture up close. It's clear enough to spot a hairline crack, a ring in a vent or a mouse nest in a wall.
Honest expectations: it's built for close-up work and is sharpest a few inches from what you're looking at. It's not 4K, and it won't show you across a room.
"Won't it just break after a few uses?"
That's a real problem with no-name scopes, and why every FetchCam has a 12-month warranty. If it stops working with normal use, email us and we'll send a replacement free. No forms, no runaround. A lens cap comes in the box to keep the camera scratch-free between jobs.
"I'm not handy or techy. Will I be able to use it?"
If you can use your phone's camera, you can use this. Plug it in, open the app, and you're looking. The cable is semi-rigid, so you bend it into a curve and it holds that shape while you push it in.
Steering round corners and grabbing things with the hook or magnet takes a few minutes of practice. Most people find what they're after on their first go. If it's a gift, they'll have it working in under a minute.
"Why not just buy a $25 one on Amazon?"
You can. Many of those are Wi-Fi models that lag and drop out, come with a floppy cable that coils up after two feet, and include only one connector. FetchCam gives you:
- A wired feed with no Wi-Fi drop-outs
- A 16 ft cable that holds its shape
- All three phone connectors, plus hook, magnet and mirror
- A 12-month warranty and real people on support
And it still costs less than one call-out just to have someone "take a look".
Will it get round bends in a pipe?
It follows gentle bends and holds whatever shape you give it, but it won't push through a tight 90° elbow or a solid clog. It's a camera, not a drain auger. It works best in sinks, showers, tubs and toilets (pipes 2" and under). 16 ft won't reach a main sewer line.
Can it go in water?
Yes. The camera head is IP67 waterproof, so it can go into drains, toilets, sink traps and tanks. Keep the phone end and the connector dry.
When will it arrive?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days, and most are shipped and delivered within 7–15 days, with tracking. For Christmas delivery, order by December 9.
Can I use it on people or pets?
No. FetchCam is for household, automotive and mechanical inspection only. It's not a medical device and must never be used in ears or mouths, or on animals.
The next time something drops, leaks or rattles, you'll see it first.
Keep FetchCam in the toolbox and you'll never pay someone just to look again. Or wrap one up for the handy one in your life. The holiday batch is limited.
